  • in connection to animals or mythological figures (e.g. Eshu – the African trickster god*70), only the qualities related to them are important since these are the ones tasked with opening eyes fixed on animality and the "order" of the material world.
  • map of Africa: indicates unusual plans redolent of the exotic or great risk.
  • domination by Europeans in the colonial era: emphasizes the need to abandon power ambitions or even dictatorial manners of the ego used in one's surroundings.
