The Dream Book of Self-Knowledge

  • Since a fight or war is in the unconscious a moral struggle or mental conflict, peace comes as a mental calm and the preparation for more fighting which the dream undergoes only to improve his mental and spiritual aspect; high above this peace lies an inner peace (peace in the soul) that leads a person to final realization.
  • peace and tranquility, with visions of beautiful nature, paradises full of delight and joy: the return of a person to the prenatal state and feelings in the mother's womb enables a person to forget the danger, pain and suffering that every creature fully feels in being born (see Basic Perinatal Matrix archetype).
  • in the soul: only after calming the physical body and distracted mind of the person in his soul in a non-desirous state does there appear inner peace, whose causes do not lie in the outer world; such peace shows the importance of quieting the mind for successful psychological and spiritual development (the path to experiencing peace and calm in dreams and later even in everyday reality is through regular meditation).
