  • a frequently occurring image during adolescence; can be rooted in a subconscious assessment of the father or in a similarly subconscious summary of all instinctual dependencies of one's soul (see Giants).
  • the battle of the hero with giants (personification of the father), giantesses (personification of the mother), tyrants and dictators: appears mainly if the dreamer does not manage certain emotional pressures that force him to abandon human models so that he discovers divine models (more on this in the Father – Mother, Puer – Kora) archetypes.
  • one-eyed: see One-eyed.
