The Dream Book of Self-Knowledge

Spiritism

  • conjuring of spirits: these are very negative dream experiences since one should try to elevate his experiences to the emotional and spiritual level and not get mixed up with occult adventures (see Apocalypse archetype).
  • spirit of the deceased: can help explain to the dreamer some of the confusion of life, but in the interest of both sides it is not good to prolong this contact (see Apocalypse archetype).
  • visiting the kingdom of the dead: is wholly inevitable for the successful self-improvement process (spiritual journey); the dreamer can identify with the stories of Heracles, Aeneas, Ulysses, the visionary traveler from the Divine Comedy (Dante) or with stories of other mythological figures that have the power to visit the mythical kingdom of the dead, otherwise the kingdom of the dead or kingdom of spirits should be a forbidden realm for a person.
