Bush, bushes

  • if the type of bush is apparent from the dream, then see the individual type.
  • if fruits that normally grow on trees (e.g. apples, cherries etc.) grow on bushes, then this symbol is degraded in the subconscious and does not have such an influence on the dreamer.
  • if fruits that normally grow on bushes (e.g. gooseberries, currants etc.) grow on trees, then this symbol is enhanced in the subconscious and has a much greater influence on the dreamer.
  • once the bush is modified into a clear shape (e.g. sphere, pyramid, etc.), then see the individual shape.
  • growing a thorny bush: your approach to your own negative aspects should be reassessed and an attempt should be made to improve or rid yourself of them.
  • thorny bushes: reveals the sexual nature of the refuge of instinctual personifications; see Thorn, pricker.
  • a person hiding in the bushes: clearly an instinctual personification (instinctual animus or instinctual anima) that symbolizes fear of the world or expresses a fear of revealing negative intentions.
  • animals hiding in the bushes: animalistic instinctual personifications.
