- attacks a person who is trying to free himself from his personality; it is therefore clear that the most frequent target of dream mosquitoes is the person currently dwelling on the dream emotional level.
- light (knowledge) is the enemy of the instinctual symbol of the mosquito, while a cloak of darkness (ignorance) plays into the hands of "blood-thirsty" behavior in the dreamer's mind (the dream body).
- swarms of mosquitoes: caused by an ebb of emotion (lowering of the water's surface creating a swamp).
- being stung by mosquitoes: you must bear the consequences of sensual thinking.
