*34 The Law of Karma is a direct relationship between the causes and effects of acts, feelings, thoughts and spiritual states. I consider the Law of Karma to be the most important law of the world and in many ways resembles the law of conservation of energy. Like energy, karma can never disappear and can only be transformed into different energy which basically means that every idea, every feeling and every act does not disappear as mental energy and, as a tension, will seek a place and time to be discharged. The world is directly charged by the abundance of energy of thoughts, feelings and actions. Yet only that which corresponds to the karmic configuration and qualities of the mind can be accepted. Retribution of this merciless though most just law will someday come in the actions of other beings, once again through tensions and feelings, for a third time through a birth into an environment corresponding to the existential karmic tension and for a fourth time through the karmic inheritance from our ancestors.
